 It is important to know up front what one can expect when considering an internship at Summit Crossing. Here is the general framework:- Interns can be full or part time. (Church Planting Internships are only available for full time.)
- Interns will raise their own financial support. (We do offer housing in host homes as available.)
- Interns will be available to help with various tasks that may be outside of their area of interest.
- Interns will be given both experiential work as well as theological teaching.
- Interns will not be guaranteed a staff position upon completion of their internship and internships may be terminated at any time if it is deemed to no longer be mutually beneficial.
AVAILABLE INTERNSHIPS Intern – Men and women who have a specific skill set and desire to lead within a specific ministry at Summit Crossing, whether it is a new or existing ministry (i.e. missional communities, family and children, students, worship arts, visual arts, music arts, facilities management, etc.). They will receive mentoring from a staff member, build a ministry proposal, and implement their ministry plan. Support raising required and a minimum commitment of 1-year. Church Planting – This is the most intensive internship level. Men who feel God’s calling to plant a church within the next one to two years can begin a church planting internship. They will help lead in various ministries within Summit Crossing, receive mentoring by one of our elders, and undergo various assessments as a potential church planter. Support raising and a minimum commitment of one-year is required. APPLICATION PROCESS Phase 1: Email your resume, three letters of reference at least one supervisor/mentor, your testimony, and philosophy of ministry to

Phase 2: You will be sent several assessments to fill out. Phase 3: Elder interview either by phone or in person. Once completed you will be notified of your status. Phase 4: Complete required fund raising and any prerequisites of elder interview.
