Why We Plant Churches

We believe the local church is the vehicle in which God has ordained to advance the gospel around the world. Therefore, we are committed to planting other gospel-centered churches around our region and the world. As part of the A29 network, we are actively working within our region to plant other churches.



“The vigorous, continual planting of new congregations is the single most crucial strategy for 1) the numerical growth of the Body of Christ in any city, and 2) the continual corporate renewal and revival of the existing churches in a city. Nothing else—not crusades, outreach programs, para-church ministries, growing mega-churches, congregational consulting, nor church renewal processes—will have the consistent impact of dynamic, extensive church planting.”

Our desire is threefold:

1) We want to intentionally engage, equip and send men and teams from Summit Crossing Community Church, to plant churches.

2) We want to engage and equip church planters and teams from outside Summit Crossing Community Church, to help them develop in the call the Lord has given them.

3) We want to partner with other churches, church plants and organizations to strategically plant churches all over the world.
