OUR VISION

Summit Crossing Community Church exists to encourage one another to know the Gospel, connect in Gospel relationships, and live out the Gospel in the world. We use the phrase "Know, Connect, Live" as an easy way to remember this vision.

Great Project First Day

We are partnering with Boy Scout Troop 400 again this year for Project Great First Day.  For $20, you can ensure that an underprivileged child gets a Great First Day in school by arriving with the correct supplies, complete with backpack.  This program benefits some great kids in the Searcy Housing Community and inner city Boy Scout Troop 400/Cub Pack 400.

Opportunities to be involved

1. Sponsor a child by donating $20 - give on Sunday, July 24 or 31 (checks can be made to to “Friends of 400 Foundation”) or donate online.

2. Volunteer to pack school supplies on Friday, July 29th or volunteer at the Picnic on July 31st where the kids come to pick up their supplies.

Kingdom Citizens

July 5, 2016
Kingdom Citizens

In this series we will examine Jesus' first and longest sermon, the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7. This sermon serves as the inaugural address of Jesus’ earthly ministry, where he begins to unpack what it truly means to be a part of his Kingdom and sets the stage for what true citizenship looks like. These chapters flip the script and turn the expectations of the religious leaders upside down. Make no mistake, there is true power in Christ’s Kingdom, but citizenship isn’t what they, or perhaps even we, thought it would be. And so for us today we look at what it means, even now, to live under the good rule of Christ as Kingdom Citizens.
